MANILA - GlobalPort Batang Pier is ready to dip its finger on the trading block.
In an exclusive interview with Solar Sports Desk, GlobalPort Coach Junel Baculi bared that he is now pondering on tweaking his wing spot.
“Masyadong populated yung spot namin na yun, kaya gusto kong magrelease”, revealed Baculi while writing off Gary David, Willie Miller, AJ Mandani and Rey Guevarra as among those offered.
“Ay hindi yun. Wala sa kanila. Core namin yun,” hinted the fiery mentor who is looking at a future pick as a swap for the player they are set to release.
David has long been in a center of different trade rumors, but Baculi stressed that they want to keep the high-scoring guard on the team.
As of the moment, the camp of businessman Mikee Romero refused to divulge the name of the player who might be wearing a different uniform when the Commissioner’s Cup kicks off on February 8.
“Hulaan na lang nila. Kasi pag mas gumanda pa yung laro baka mag-dalawang isip kami,” Baculi whispered while stressing that the subject is in the mold of becoming a superstar in the near future.
“Hindi si Vic Manuel. Wala pa yung negotiation nun,” replied Baculi, when asked about the rumored trade for Jay Washington of the Petron Blaze Boosters.
